The family of Emmanuel Kirima is grappling with shock, confusion, and sorrow following the sudden death of their 15-year-old son.

Emmanuel, a new Form One student at Kilungu Boys High School, tragically passed away just ten days after embarking on his educational journey.

The family’s ordeal began with a distressing call from the school management, urging them to make their way to Kilungu mortuary to identify Emmanuel’s lifeless body.

Initially informed that their son had been rushed to the hospital due to a stomach ache, the family’s distress deepened upon discovering visible facial injuries, especially on his forehead, during the body inspection.

Despite their desperate queries, the school administration has chosen to remain silent on the circumstances surrounding Emmanuel’s injuries

. The family is left in the dark, uncertain whether their son was involved in a fight, suffered a fall, or fell victim to bullying before being transported to the hospital.

Citizen TV’s investigative efforts revealed a sequence of events leading to Emmanuel’s demise.

He was initially taken to a private hospital before being transferred to Kilungu Level Three Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The headteacher of Kilungu Boys High School, Goeffrey Muema, expressed shock over the hospital’s report of the boy’s death, maintaining that the school had adhered to standard procedures when a student falls ill.

Seeking answers, the family has opted to transfer Emmanuel’s body to Chiromo mortuary for a post-mortem scheduled for Monday.

The aim is to unravel the precise cause of his untimely death, shedding light on the mysteries that surround this tragic incident.

In the midst of grieving, detectives have initiated investigations into the circumstances leading to the mysterious death of the 15-year-old student.
