Opposition leader Raila Odinga yesterday gave his strongest hint that he will be NASA’s flag bearer in the upcoming general elections.
The former prime minister appeared to let the cat out of the bag in Busia County where he addressed political rally in an effort to boost voter registration in opposition strongholds.
“The people of Ghana preferred Akufo-Addo against his predecessor John Mahama despite his age, meaning people value veteran leaders,” he said while addressing residents at Busia Polytechnic.
Earlier in the month, his strongest rival in the opposition Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka announced that he was willing to abandon his presidential ambition in a bid to oust the ruling Jubilee Party from government.
Raila further swore that he would ensure current president Uhuru Kenyatta becomes the first ever one term president in Kenya.
