President Uhuru Kenyatta’s sister, Margaret Wambui, has died.
The presidents sister was the first woman mayor of Nairobi. She was deputy mayor of Nairobi in 1966 and mayor in 1971.
She died on Wednesday in Nairobi aged 89 years. She was never married and did not have children.
She was the only daughter and the eldest of two children of Mzee Kenyatta and his first wife Nyokabi.
