Ricardo Momo has dropped the bombshell of the year. The media personality, who is the manager of Wasafi ‘s signee Lavalava, in an interview with Wasafi FM revealed that Abdul Juma popularly known as Mzee Abdul is not Diamond Platnumz’ real father
He said that he raised the singer but he ain’t his blood.
Asked about the rumor that has been going on for the longest time if he’s related to Diamond and Esma, Ricard said,
‘SISI NI FAMILIA. NI STORY NDEFU SANA. ESMA NI DANDANGU KWA UPANDE WA NASEEB [DIAMOND]. ESMA AND DIAMOND SHARE THE SAME MOTHER. NASEEB IS MY BROTHER. WE SHARE THE SAME FATHER WHO’S MR SALUM.’
Ricardo said this has been kept a secret from the public for the longest time.
Diamond, who has never revealed that he’s not related to Mzee Abdul has on many occasions been accused of neglecting him despite being rich.
In 2019, Diamond agreed to meet his ‘father’ Mzee Abdul after years of being apart. He accused the old man of abandoning his family.
Speaking after the meeting, Mzee Abdul said,
‘I HAVE REALIZED DIAMOND IS NOT ON THE WRONG. I AM THE ONE WHO SLIPPED. I ALREADY MADE PEACE WITH HIS MUM. I THEREAFTER SAW IT WISE TO LOOK FOR DIAMOND AND ASK FOR HIS FORGIVENESS.’
Diamonds Father Unveiled!
Diamond Platnumz’ mother Sandra Kassim has left tongues wagging after revealing that Mzee Abdul, a man believed to be her son’s father isn’t.
Sandra, who’s popularly known as Mama Dangote revealed this in an interview with Wasafi TV. The 31-year-old Tanzanian crooner was raised by Mzee Abdul but he isn’t the biological father.
His mother revealed that she met Mzee Abdul when she was already pregnant for Diamond’s father Salum Iddi Nyange, who’s now late.
