Mulamwah finally moves out of his Sh9K bedsitter & relocates family to new home

It was a proud moment as the comedian David Oyando, popularly known as Mulamwah, finally moved out of the bedsitter apartment where he has been living for many years.

The father of two announced this significant step through his social media pages on Wednesday, sharing a video of his belongings being moved from the apartment in the Kariobangi area to his new home.

“Officially, we’ve moved out of the Ghetto. Even you can make it, put in the effort. Or not?” Mulamwah said as he bid farewell to his neighbors.

Speaking in a video shared on Instagram, the comedian noted that moving out of the ghetto is not easy and urged people to work hard to progress.

In his statement, he hinted that he is now moving to a three-bedroom house in a neighborhood he did not disclose, where he intends to raise his younger child.

“Finally!!… God is great, the YOUTH HAS MOVED OUT OF THE GHETTO. I’ll miss my 9k bedsitter that welcomed me to the city, as well as my neighborhood friends, but we’ll meet again,” Mulamwah said.

He added, “There were many struggles, but they helped me save money and appreciate a better life. Always thank and appreciate GOD for small steps. Move slowly, move steadily.”

The father of two also took the opportunity to talk about the luxurious mansion he is building in Kitale, revealing that it is nearing completion.

“At the same time, let’s see how life in this 3B (three-bedroom house) goes in Nairobi. Let’s also experience what people talk about. Kalamwah is going to enjoy a bit,” he said.

“No one should rush you, move at your own pace! We’re moving with our jerricans and clotheslines 🤣, ladies give your men time 🙏💯,” he added.

This move comes just a few days after the comedian welcomed his first child with his current partner, Ruth K.

Earlier this month, the couple was blessed with a baby boy, Oyando Jr, also known as Kalamwah, who is Mulamwah’s second child. He has another child with his former partner, Carrol Sonie.
