Milele FM radio presenter Chris The Bass has announced his departure from the MediaMax-based station after five years of service.
Chris, who hosted the afternoon show alongside MCA Tricky, announced his exit through a heartfelt message while in the US.
Expressing gratitude to his listeners, colleagues, and bosses at Milele FM, Chris reminisced about his memorable journey on the airwaves.
He acknowledged the indispensable role of the audience in shaping his radio career, emphasizing their significance in his professional life.

Chris also hinted at continuing his radio journey, leaving fans to speculate about his new destination.

Amidst Chris’s exit, Milele FM welcomed Aisha Wanjiku to co-host with comedian Mulamwah on the daily drive show.
Before joining Milele FM, Chris lent his voice to Pilipili FM in Mombasa, now known as Msenangu FM.
Chris’ departure is another loss of talent that follows the exit of prominent radio host Alex Mwakideu who left the station in August 2023.
