Miheso ‘confirms’ AFC Leopards return

Former Kenya Police FC winger Clifton Miheso has all but confirmed his return to AFC Leopards with a cryptic social media post.

“A leopard can not change its spots. Yamateree,” read his social media post.

Miheso played for Leopards in 2016 before leaving for Golden Arrows of South Africa.

Other players training with Leopards awaiting the lifting of the ban include Nzoia Sugar FC hexad of Humphrey Katasi, Vincent Mahiga, Randy Bakari, Boniface Munyendo, Hassan Beja and Yassin Beja.

Others are former Mwatate United player Brian Mandela, former Leopards winger Kevin Kimani, former Mathare United defender Gideon Werre and former FC Talanta striker Brian Yakhama.

Meanwhile Miheso received a major boost on Tuesday when the Sports Disputes Tribunal ruled that he be paid Kes. 2.25 million plus accrued interest and cost by his former club Gor Mahia for breaching his contract.
