Mathare United, a football club based in Nairobi, has announced that they have signed South Sudanese centre back John Kuol.

The acquisition of Kuol is expected to bolster the team’s defense as they seek to improve their performance in the Football Kenya Federation (FKF) Premier League.

Kuol, who has previously played for Chemilil Sugar and Kariobangi Sharks in the FKF Premier League, brings a wealth of experience to the Mathare United team.

His physicality and aerial prowess make him a valuable asset in defending set pieces, while his tackling ability and reading of the game will be crucial in preventing opposing attackers from getting past him.

Speaking to Mozzart sports, Kuol said; ”I had been out for a while and felt the urge to test myself again in the Kenyan league. It feels good to be back at the top level. Hopefully, we will inspire the club to a respectable finish,”
