Milele FM presenter Alex Mwakideu on Friday, July 31, disclosed his wife’s reaction after cheating rumors circulated on social media platforms in May.

In an interview with NTV’s Dr. Kin’gori, Mwakideu confessed that he was a bit worried about how the rumors would affect his family.

“My wife kept calling to ask if the rumours were true and I told her to calm down and wait for my explanation,” Mwakideu stated.

Once he got home, the presenter indicated that his wife asked for his mobile phone and he handed it to her.

“I gave it to her as well as my Instagram password and showed her my Whatsapp messages. At the moment, if anyone sends a message on my Instagram, my wife can respond to you,” he added.

In the same month, blogger Edgar Obare published screenshots implicating comedian Jalang’o (Felix Odiwuor) whom he alleged was unfaithful to his wife.

The topic became a matter of discussion on social media platforms especially after the screenshots indicated that Jalang’o and his close friends had a group where they shared images of various women and ranked their romantic conquests.

“There’s no problem. Let him (Edgar Obare) keep doing what he is doing,” he told at the time.

During the show, Mwakideu urged Kenyans to check on their friends in case they endured a tough hurdle on social media platforms.

“Do not allow social media to make you disloyal to your friends because it is just a passing cloud,” he cautioned.
