Kibera Black Stars and Darajani Gogo set to ignite the pitch in must-watch derby

The National Super League (NSL) is heating up as the championship enters round 15 this weekend.

One of the most highly anticipated matches is the Kibera derby between title hopefuls Kibera Black Stars and Darajani Gogo at Camp Toyoyo in Nairobi. Black Stars are currently second on the table, just two points behind league leaders Shabana, and a win in this match would increase their chances of clinching this season’s title.

However, they will need to keep a close eye on Darajani Gogo, who have been in good form recently and could cause an upset.

Meanwhile, Shabana will be looking to bounce back from two recent defeats as they travel to Migori to take on Migori Youth.

The ‘Glamour Boys’ will be without their chairman Nyandoro Kambi, who passed away recently, and will be hoping to dedicate a win to his memory.

Coach Sammy Okoth is expected to make a few changes to the squad but will retain league top scorer Vincent Nyabuto to spearhead the attack.

In another fixture, fourth-placed Murang’a Seal FC host Coastal Heroes at St Sebastian Park in Murang’a. Murang’a has won three home games in a row and will be looking to maintain their impressive goal difference and record against the visiting team.

However, Heroes will be no pushovers, having beaten Mully Children’s Family (MCF) 2-0 last weekend to climb to seventh position on the table.

Finally, Mara Sugar Sunday will travel to Ukunda to face SS Assad at Shamu grounds in Kwale County.

Mara is currently fifth on the table, having recently beaten Silibwet Leons 3-1, while Assad is placed 13th on five points. This match is expected to be explosive, with both teams fighting to climb up the table.
