The national rugby team Shujaa lost 5-7 to Australia in their final group D match of the ongoing Commonwealth Games in Birmingham, UK.
Despite the loss Kenya who had beaten Uganda and Jamaica advanced to the quarter finals where they will play New Zealand at 11pm East African time.
Kenya finished second in the group with seven points behind group winner Australia. Uganda and Jamaica wound up third and fourth respectively.
