Jaguar reveals why Miracle Baby rejected KNH admission despite Presidential offer

Peter Mwangi aka Miracle Baby , has once again stirred public concern as conflicting reports emerge regarding the status of the promised medical support from President William Ruto.

On March 5th, President Ruto made headlines by pledging to cover Miracle Baby’s medical expenses and facilitating his transfer to Kenyatta National Hospital for further treatment.

This gesture was met with relief and gratitude from many, as Miracle Baby’s health struggles had garnered widespread attention.

However, an update from US music promoter Bernice Saroni revealed a continued need for financial support, citing a requirement of Sh135,000 for Miracle Baby’s daily nursing care at home.

Speaking in a TikTok video uploaded on her account on March 20, 2024, Saroni said that Miracle Baby’s partner Carol Katrue reached out to her seeking help regarding the musician’s medical condition.

“Carol Katrue contacted me last night and said they had no money to buy the urostomy bags. My question was, I thought President Ruto was taking care of him, she told me that was not true. So we did a live show with Carol Katrue and raised Sh67,000. Thank you guys. I don’t want people to drag anyone down but this is a cry that we are supporting Peter. We need Sh135,000 for three weeks for the nurse and the bags,” said Bernice.

Former Starehe MP Charles Jaguar, who played a pivotal role in advocating for Miracle Baby’s assistance, shared startling insights into the situation.

Despite efforts to secure help from President Ruto, Jaguar disclosed that Miracle Baby had refused to be admitted to Kenyatta National Hospital.

“I lobbied President Ruto for assistance for Miracle Baby and his family. They received Ksh300,000 for home care and an ambulance arranged by the President took him to the hospital,” said Jaguar.

“Despite being offered a private room with daily specialist checks and free care, Miracle Baby chose to leave after only an hour.”

Frustrated by the situation, Jaguar questioned the next steps and the President’s response, given his personal involvement in facilitating help for Miracle Baby.

“How can we move forward when such opportunities are rejected?” Jaguar pondered.
