Kenyan actress Jackie Matubia recently shed light on her relationship with the fathers of her young children, revealing that she only maintains communication with the father of her first child, Captain Kennedy Njogu.
In an interview with Trudy Kitui, Matubia disclosed that she has chosen to reduce communication with the father of her second child, Blessing Lung’aho, stating that they do not engage in conversations.
Speaking about the challenges faced by single mothers, Matubia offered words of encouragement, emphasizing that being a single mother does not diminish one’s worth.
She urged single mothers to reject social stigma and recognize their inherent strength and value.
Matubia highlighted the importance of breaking societal norms and embracing the role of a single mother, emphasizing the stability and nobility inherent in single parenthood.
Regarding her communication preferences with the father of her second child, Blessing Lung’aho, Matubia humorously likened their interactions to talking to a wall, implying a lack of response or commitment.
“I only talk to the father of my first child. Yes. You know when you talk to a wall, it actually answers, right? I rest my case,” Matubia said.
When asked about her dating life and thoughts on marriage, Matubia revealed that she currently prioritizes her daughters.
“Marriage and relationships are hard. I’m not dating at the moment. I’m a proud single mother of two beautiful girls, and I’m proud of it,” Matubia confirmed.
Jackie and Blessing dated in April 2022, marking a significant milestone in their relationship. However, their once promising partnership eventually soured.
Jackie confirmed that she and Blessing were no longer together and announced that she is a proud mother of two children.
