Jubilee party has for the second time in one week pushed its Nairobi primaries to a later date, the party secretary said.

The party will now conduct nominations on April 26 and not 24 as earlier communicated. This, according to party secretary general Raphael Tuju has been necessitated by fact that rival party ODM will have its primaries in the city on April 25.Some polling stations had been booked by the Orange party.

Tuju also added that Nairobi is most competetive counties and therefore need to give it more time.

“ODM had already booked most of the polling stations including schools and hence there could have been a possible clash if we held our Nairobi primaries tomorrow (Monday), noted Mr Tuju.
