Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka has asked his supporters to rally behind him since he will be the president in 2022!
According to a local daily, the former vice president was speaking at at Bomas of Kenya after issuing nomination certificates to Wiper candidates.
Mr. Musyoka apparently cited the absence of Uhuru Kenyatta in the 2022 general elections as one of the reasons why he will easily clinch the presidency.
He further alleged that he has no differences with Machakos Senator Johnstone Muthama who recently ditched the party over Kalonzo’s interference in the party primaries.
“I don’t know how to throw stones at people. I love my opponents whether in Nasa or Jubilee,” said Mr Musyoka.
Kalonzo is currently facing headwinds over claims within his Wiper Party that he sold out to ODM’s Raila Odinga in clinching the NASA residential party ticket.
The fallout in Wiper has gone on to cause alarm in the opposition outfit, with fears of voter apathy from the Ukambani region in the upcoming August general elections.
