“I wasn’t doing well mentally” Brian Chira breaks silence after long absence from Tik Tok

TikToker Brian Chira has emerged after a long silence on social media, confessing that he hasn’t been mentally well for several days.

Chira, who made headlines last year for his antics on TikTok, disappeared from the platform for a while, with some speculating that he might have been dealing with depression.

In an interview with YouTuber Nicholas Kioko, Chira admitted that he indeed wasn’t mentally well but explained that during his social media hiatus, he has been attending behavioral correction programs and seeking the help of a mental health professional.

“I wasn’t doing well mentally; that’s not a lie, and I have been seeing my therapist. I’m very grateful to him,” Chira said.

The young man, who openly acknowledged being HIV-positive, revealed some of the things he had to change in his daily life routine that have, in one way or another, improved his well-being.

“I have been trying to improve myself, love myself first, cut down on the bottle [alcohol], take care of myself like showering twice a day; you know, things like that have been making me better,” he said.

However, Chira stated that his transformation doesn’t mean he will hold back when provoked, and he will maintain his lively personality.

“This Chira still has his antics. If you come at me, even if you’re a big shot in showbiz, I will come at you too. It’s not like I’ll stay quiet just because I’m rebuilding myself. If I hear someone speaking ill of me, I will respond in kind,” Chira vowed.

He mentioned that his comeback in the entertainment industry will be significant, not only on TikTok but also with the launch of his podcast on YouTube.

But he also mentioned that in his comeback, he won’t be able to do his show without sipping at least one bottle to ease stress and pump up his emotions for his fans.

“I will bring my content on YouTube as a podcast; it won’t be calm, I have to take a few shots [of alcohol] before we go on air. Do you think talking for 40 minutes is a joke? You have to take a few shots,” Chira said.
