Former Radio Citizen Host Shatta Bway Reveals Why He Will Never Marry Again Months After Losing Wife

Former Radio Citizen Presenter Shatta Bway has recently opened up about his profound memories with his late wife, shedding light on the complexities of their relationship and the challenges he faces in coping with her absence.

In a candid interview with Ofweneke, he delved into the dynamics of their marriage, revealing that their most common disagreements revolved around other women.

“Sometimes she’d tell me to send a message like ‘I’m not even going to smile, even on TikTok. ‘Hey, have they started?’ Tell them it’s my time now.’ Even if a fan just liked two of your photos on Facebook or Instagram in succession, you’d arrive home and wonder,” he confided.

Moreover, his late wife would meticulously scrutinize those who commented on his posts with love emojis, reflecting her deep-seated insecurities and the strain it placed on their relationship.

Despite these challenges, Shatta Bway acknowledged the difficulty of coming to terms with his wife’s passing, a loss that prompted his resignation from Radio Citizen.

“It hasn’t been easy. We’re still transitioning; it’s still very fresh, just a few months ago, but when life pushes you, you have to go with it. That’s one of the reasons why I left the radio show. There was a time I felt I needed more time with the children, so I quit a job that wasn’t too demanding,” he shared.

Transitioning to his current role at Cape Media has granted him the flexibility to prioritize his role as a father to his two children.

Despite the challenges, Shatta remains resolute in his decision not to remarry, citing his dedication to his children and his aversion to subjecting them to the potential pitfalls of step-parenting.

“I won’t marry again. For what? I have two children, a boy, and a girl. Marriage, to me, is about the children,” he affirmed.

Addressing concerns about his intimate needs, Shatta humorously likened his current state to “rehearsals,” indicating his reluctance to pursue a new romantic relationship.

He expressed frustration with advances from women, viewing them as a hindrance to his healing process rather than a solution.
