Popular content creators, Terence Creative and his wife Milly Chebby, are planning to formalize their marriage with a white wedding set for 2024.
A close to the couple told Nairobi News that the couple have earmarked February 2024 as the month for this joyous occasion, with further details regarding the exact dates soon to be disclosed.
Over the weekend, Terence formalized the union with Milly in a traditional wedding ceremony known as “Kuhoya Uhiki” (Seeking permission for a wedding).
Terence wore a brown kaftan suit with dark brown shoes while his wife, Milly Chebby looked elegant in a long, flowing brown gown adorned with beautiful kitenge patches.
The opulent event was attended by their family, close friends, and a star-studded guest list of celebrities, who joined the couple in Mosoriot-Nandi County.
In 2021, Terence Creative shared a harrowing tale of misfortune that befell him on the day of their traditional wedding.
Having diligently saved for the dowry, Terence faced a setback when he was robbed just two nights before the scheduled ceremony.
He had prepared presents for Milly’s parents and had also withdrawn the cash he intended to present as dowry before embarking on the journey to her home in Eldoret.
However, while en route and on Chai Road, he fell victim to a distressing incident when four individuals confronted him and made off with the entire sum.
Left with only the presents, Terence recounted this unfortunate episode on their YouTube channel.
In a commendable show of support, Terence said his friends and family members rallied together on the wedding day, raising Ksh 23,000 to help him salvage the situation.
Determined to proceed with the traditional wedding despite the setback, he feared that Milly’s parents would decline his proposal.
Upon reaching Eldoret, Terence said he explained the unfortunate incident to Milly’s family, who, though skeptical, challenged him to secure additional funds.
In an effort to meet their requirements, a friend offered him an additional 2,000 Ksh, bringing the total to 25,000 Ksh. Although the family had reservations about his narrative, they granted him the benefit of the doubt.
