Citizen TV Lillian Muli was on Friday, September 2, involved in what entertainment site Mpasho has reported as a ‘nasty altercation’ with a waitress at Carribea’s bar and restaurant- an upscale watering hole in Kilimani, Nairobi.
The genesis of what has now been termed as one of the nastiest shows of arrogance started when Muli who was in the company of an unidentified man scoffed at the poor service of the restaurant- service that the rest of the patrons seemed to be enjoying nevertheless.
“What the hell… I come over here and you serve me with an attitude… kwani what, I am paying. Get the hell out of my face. I don’t have to come to this place….. This bitch has an attitude… every time I come here you serve me with an attitude. I complain about you, I don’t want you to serve me again, ever!” she yelled.
Muli complained that a particular waitress she spoke to was rude and uncooperative.
Muli was heard shouting epithets at the waitress above the din of the popular hangout:
“This bitch has an attitude,” Muli shouted in the nasty showdown.
Patrons at the pub tried to calm down the infuriated TV presenter to no avail. She went ahead to give the waitress a piece of her mind even as curious customers sensationally advised her to go to the Villa Rosa Kempinski where service would be five-star.
Muli runs Kenya’s most popular fashion show on Citizen TV alongside Ian Mbugua, Carol Odero, Israel Burale and Annabel Anyango.
