A church wedding that was scheduled for Saturday in Kapsoiyo, Bomet County, was aborted at the last minute after the would-be bride pleaded with the planning committee to be given more time to make up her mind.
According to Pastor Clement Chalulot of the Kapsoiyo Africa Gospel Church (AGC), the event was cancelled despite the family of the groom having paid the dowry, three cows and other requirements.
Nelly Chepkoech reportedly cancelled her wedding to ‘make up her mind’. In an exclusive interview with Citizen Digital, Chepkoech says the wedding was just ‘postponed’ and sets the record straight on the circumstances around Saturday’s events.
