Arsene Wenger has included Arsenal outcasts Mathieu Debuchy, Carl Jenkinson and Yaya Sanogo in his 2016/17 Premier League squad.

The trio have not featured for the club for some time after being deemed surplus to requirements and it was widely expected they would secure a move away from the Emirates this summer.

But they now look set to fight for their places in the first XI and hope for opportunities under Wenger this season.

They join new signings Granit Xhaka, Shkodran Mustafi and Lucas Perez in the 25-man squad list, while Rob Holding is classed as an Under-21 player and therefore does not need to be formally registered.

Danny Welbeck has also been included in the squad list, with officials at the club hoping he will make a December return rather than a comeback in February as was first feared.
