At the start of 2016-17 season, Chelsea has only brought in couple of players and their wage bill is expected to remain at the similar scale as last season. While United and City are widely expected to overtake Chelsea in money spent on players wages.
Antonio Conte himself signed a three year deal to be Chelsea manager from 2016to 2019. His basic salary is around £6.5m a year only.
