Western Regional Commissioner Isaiah Nakoru has said the region is calm and all set for elections slated for Tuesday.

Speaking to KBC Channel 1 in his Kakamega office, Nakoru called on voters not to crowd at polling centers or tallying centers after voting.

“People must go home after voting and wait for the announcement of results,” he said.

As some of the security measures, Nakoru said that roadblocks will be erected at designated areas as part of a deterrence to crime.
