President Uhuru Kenyatta on Sunday granted Kenyan football star Joe Kadenge his dying wish by meeting him.
The president met with Mr. Kadenge at his home in Mariakani, in Nairobi’s South B area. was accompanied by Nairobi Senator Mike Sonko, culture CS Hassan Wario and other government officials.
In his career, Kadenge played for Maragoli United, and scored the fastest ever goal in the Kenyan Premier League.
Uhuru further directed that Kadenge be given a comprehensive insurance cover with the National Hospital Insurance Fund (NHIF).
Kadenge is expected to return to hospital this week.
