Kenyan uprising artist Stoopid Boy has broken his silence regarding the cancellation of his scheduled interview with Dr. Ofweneke on TV 47, shedding light on the reasons behind his decision in a video shared online.
In the video, Stoopid Boy expressed his inability to afford fame without financial stability, asserting that he cannot compromise on his standards for interviews.

The ‘Jbag na Jug’ hitmaker reiterated his worth, refusing to settle for less and stating that he will not engage in interviews without receiving something in return.
He disclosed that he wasn’t compensated for his appearance on the ’10 over 10′ show aired on Citizen TV, expressing frustration at being taken advantage of.
“Mlitupanga sana…tunaenda ma interview bila dooh… hata hiyo 10 over 10 nikienda silipwi…” Stoopid shared.
Furthermore, Stoopid Boy argued that he deserves a sitting allowance for his hard work and dedication to his craft.
The cancellation of the interview prompted Dr. Ofweneke to share his disappointment, labeling Stoopid Boy’s reason for cancellation as “literally a stupid reason.”
However, he assured Stoopid Boy that compensation would be arranged for future engagements.“Stoopid cancelled the show for literally a stupid reason: he wanted to be paid… Stoopid Boy, just wait; we will pay you.” Dr. Ofweneke shared back then.
