Sofi Maure, a 25-year-old social media influencer with over 500,000 followers on Instagram and Twitter, caused a stir when she announced that she had married herself.
She shared photos of herself in a wedding dress and gold tiara, along with a cake that she baked to celebrate the occasion. While some of her followers were supportive, others were critical, accusing her of seeking attention.
However, just one day after her wedding, Sofi announced on social media that she was already considering a divorce. She wrote that she couldn’t stand being married to herself and was exploring her options for a quick and easy divorce.
Many of her followers were amused by the turn of events and cracked jokes about her situation.
One follower, named Lucas, assured Sofi: “There is an express divorce in the first 3 months of marriages so don’t worry.”
Someone else simply reiterated her statement, saying: “You can’t stand yourself.”
Another person said: “Get a good lawyer.”
