Shabana FC have appointed former Kenya international and seasoned coach Sammy ‘Pamzo’ Omollo as their new head coach, replacing sacked Sammy Okoth.
Former Gor Mahia defender Oscar Kambona, who was Okoth’s assistant, has been operating in an interim capacity as the club was hunting for a new tactician.
In a statement on Wednesday, the club said they settled on the former Tusker FC, Posta Rangers, and Kenya Police coach due to his wealth of experience and a proven track record.

His passion for the sport and his dedication to nurturing talent align seamlessly with Shabana FC’s vision and values. We are confident that under his guidance our team will flourish and continue to uphold the rich legacy of Shabana FC.

Shabana have had a tough start to the season since their historic return to the topflight league with only three wins under their name and nine defeats, and are currently languishing 17th on the table on 14 points, one above bottom placed Nzoia Sugar.
