Senior KPA official arrested with conflict of interest

    Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission officers on Tuesday arrested a senior official at the Kenya Ports Authority (KPA) after receiving Ksh 2.4 million.

    Joseph Patterson Okhako, a director of Ethics Institute of East Africa is accused of offering consultancy and training services to KPA through his private entity.

    According to EACC, Okhako received approximately Kshs. 2.4 million without making a disclosure to his employer about his role and interest in the Institute.
