Former Kenya international Sammy “Pamzo” Omollo is set to land a new job in the Football Kenya Federation Premier League a month after Kenya Police sacked him.

Pamzo was the first casualty amongst the under-performing coaches in the country after he was sacked by the law enforcers just two matches into the season.

Omollo had been at the helm as Police Head and was assisted by former Harambee Stars captain Musa Otieno, who resigned from his position without giving a reason.

However, reports have revealed that the slum boys are considering the former Gor Mahia assistant coach to take over from Boniface Omondi, who was fired over a spate of poor results.

“Talks of having Pamzo take over the mantle are ongoing.” A source confirmed.

Mathare United are stuck at the bottom of the table with a paltry four points from 10 matches. Their next match is against the high-riding KCB, who are placed fourth in the table. The match will be played on Saturday at Moi International Sports Center Kasarani Annex.
