Jiji, the biggest African marketplace platform, has much to crow about after getting two awards in safety and classified categories.

For the second time in a row, they have won Best Classifieds Website at the Digital Tech 100 Awards and also managed to bag the Safest Online Shopping Platform at the Transport and Logistics Excellence Awards, on the same day.

Jiji Kenya announced today that it received two awards: Best Classifieds Website at the Digital Tech 100 Awards that was held in Movenpick, Hotel and the Safest Online Shopping Platform at the Panari Hotel, which was both held on the same day.

The platform was the only online shopping platform in Kenya to receive perfect five-star scores on safety, and it was the first time in 23 years of surveying that an online shopping platform was recognized in the Transport and Logistics Excellence awards, organized by the Safety Plus Ltd.

Judged by experts from all industries, the Transport and Logistics Excellence Awards celebrates the very best when it comes to safety in their operations, recognizing businesses that lead the way in creating outstanding safety experiences for customers.

After being shortlisted for the second time in a row at the Digital Tech 100 awards, Jiji Kenya  beat off competition to win ‘Best Classifieds Website of the Year.’ This is the fourth time that Jiji Kenya has won this highly coveted award since it set up shop in Kenya in March 2020.

The Top 100 Digital Tech Companies Awards (formerly Digital Tech Excellence Awards) recognize and celebrate outstanding companies in the provision of digital tech-based solutions.
