The much-anticipated annual Mega Medical Camp, organized by the Safal MRM Foundation in partnership with the Lions Club of Mombasa Pwani, took place on Sunday, November 5th, 2023, at the esteemed Mabati Medical Centre in Mariakani, Kilifi County. The event was an overwhelming success, providing free healthcare services to a diverse range of individuals in need.
The 2023 Mega Medical Camp featured a wide array of essential medical services, including free general consultations, diabetes screening, eye screening, cataract surgery, Ear, Nose, and Throat treatments, dental check-ups, free pharmaceuticals, and more. The event aimed to address the healthcare needs of the local community, particularly those who may not have easy access to essential medical services.
This year’s event continued the tradition of making a profound impact on the lives of residents in Kilifi County and beyond. Attendees came from far and wide, with individuals traveling from Taita Taveta, Mombasa, Kwale, and Makueni to receive much-needed medical care. The Mega Medical Camp has become a vital resource for those in economically challenging circumstances, offering access to healthcare services they might otherwise struggle to obtain.
