Ruth Matetes Honored By Nigerian In-laws With This One Special Thing

Gospel artiste Ruth Matete can finally breathe a sigh of relief after the family of her late husband Beloved John allowed her to bury him.

Beloved John, who is a Nigerian, succumbed to burn wounds weeks ago after a cylinder accident at their homemade him catch fire.

An autopsy report revealed that he had over 60% burns and sepsis set in and led to his death.

Ruth has been in turmoil after the Nigerian Embassy stopped her from burying him.

After his death, there were so many rumors going around with some people insinuating she might have had something to do with his death.

Others said her marriage was troubled but her in-law giving her consent to bury her husband has proven otherwise.

According to the letter, sent on April 29 to the Nigerian Embassy in Kenya, the family says,

“WITH REGARDS TO THE DEATH OF OUR SON, JOHN APEWAJOYE, WE REQUEST THAT THE CORPSE SHOULD BE BURIED BY HIS KENYAN WIFE WITHOUT FURTHER DELAY FOR HIS SOUL TO BE AT PEACE. ALL AUTOPSY RESULTS DULY ACCEPTED.”

1. They have proven they had accepted Ruth as their daughter in law, by allowing her to bury their son.
2. They have proven that they do not suspect Ruth of any foul play in the death of their son, contrary to what people believed.
3. They trust Ruth with the remains of their son and believe she will know how to give him a proper send-off.
4. They are not interested in drama thus they took their time to write to the Nigerian Embassy allowing Ruth to bury her husband.
