Rosemary Odinga returns home after 3-month treatment

Raila Odinga’s daughter Rosemary Odinga has returned home from South Africa after undergoing three months of treatment.

She arrived home on Saturday evening aboard a Kenya Airways plane.

Rosemary was accompanied by her mother Ida. Available photos show a bubbly Ms. Odinga being received by well-wishers, family and friends.

Rosemary had earlier expressed her intentions to contest for the Kibra parliamentary seat. However, she quit the race last month.

She was first admitted at the Aga Khan Hospital in Nairobi before she was transferred to Nairobi Hospital and then flown to South Africa.

She had suffered a mild stroke in mid-February, and later was diagnosed with a brain tumor.
