The 2022/2023 National Super League (NSL) season is in full swing, and the competition has been fierce as teams battle for promotion to the Kenyan Premier League.

One of the most exciting aspects of the NSL is the race for the Golden Boot, awarded to the league’s top scorer at the end of the season.

As at 24th March 2023, Nyamawi BEJA of SS Assad leads the race with an impressive nine goals. However, he is closely followed by Alvin NGOTO of Mwatate United, John NJOROGE of Kibera Black Stars, Vincent NYABUTO of Shabana, and Athuman Rashid MOYO of Darajani Gogo, who all have seven goals each.

These players have been in excellent form, scoring crucial goals for their teams and making a significant impact on the league.

The battle for the Golden Boot is not only about personal glory but also about helping their teams achieve their goals.

Each goal scored could mean the difference between promotion or relegation, and the top scorers’ performances could be pivotal to their teams’ success.
