Kenya is banking on innovation and private sector investment to drive the growth of renewable energy. The energy and petroleum regulatory authority says the two will help Kenya achieve a 100% transition to renewable energy. EPRA says Kenya is currently utilizing renewable energy sources with over 85% of electricity generation from renewable sources.
