Radio Citizen presenter Steve Jacob Maunda, alias Shatta Bway, has announced that he has left Radio Citizen.
Shatta, who hosted the popular ‘Waks Tikitaka’ show on Radio Citizen alongside Q-tee, took to his TikTok page to release the devastating news that angered his followers.
In his disclosure, Shatta Bway shed light on the deeply personal reason behind his decision to step away from his radio duties.
He expressed that his departure stems from a solemn promise he made to his late wife, a commitment to prioritize and care for their children.
Amidst the solemnity of his wife’s burial, Shatta Bway solemnly pledged his devotion to his departed spouse.
He bid her farewell with words of love and reassurance, promising to uphold her memory and cherish their children as she had wished.
“As you embark on your journey, carry with you the crown of our love. I pledge to love our children as deeply as you did. I will shield them, nurture them, and strive to be the father you envisioned,” Bway tenderly expressed during his wife burial.
Shatta further revealed that alongside his departure from Radio Citizen, he has secured another rol that he believes will have a significant impact and afford him more time to spend with his children. H
