PRSK Awards for Excellence recognize member institutions that have done outstanding work for their clients, judging them on creativity, originality, sustainability, impact on society and professionalism.

Avid PR won the awards after submitting competitive entries that judges said required detailed information and credibility stamps from clients.

BSD Group Founder and CEO Eva Muraya said the achievement is a testament to the company’s upholding of professionalism and agility in addition to smart thinking to build brands and businesses that have strong relationships with their consumers.

“Over the past years, we have been keen in listening to what our clients want and adopting data-driven public relations and communications solutions to address challenges in line with market trends,”

    she said.

Ms Muraya also added that the awards were an illustration of the skills and experience within Avid PR supported by the BSD Group affiliate companies that have adopted solution-focused research.

“We celebrate the sense of resilience and excellence with the whole team. At BSD Group, we thrive in a collaborative culture that supports team work, coaching and data analytics’’

    Ms Muraya said.

Further, she commended Mr Arik Karani, the President of PRSK and his leadership Council for driving up membership and fostering professionalism at PRSK.

Speaking at the event, Ms. Rita Kavashe, the Isuzu East Africa Managing Director recognized the team at Avid PR for supporting Isuzu East Africa’s customer communication and engagement strategy that has driven Isuzu’s vehicle sales market share to the current 54%.

”Winning these awards and recognition from industry peers is a strong endorsement of Avid PR and its leadership,”

    Rita said.

The PRSK leadership is hopeful that the long-awaited Institute of Public Relations and Communications Management (IPRAC) bill, expected to regulate the industry and champion professional development in the sector, will become law soon.

This bill signifies a commitment to creating an environment that nurtures ethical practices and high standards.
