PSG to table mega cash for Arsene Wenger

Paris Saint-Germain are lining up a move for Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger, according to reports.

The Sun claim that the French champions’ owners believe they will be able to land the 67-year-old once his contract expires at the end of the season.

PSG are ready to offer Wenger a salary worth £10 million a year, which would be a £2m increase on his current package with the Gunners.

The French club would also be prepared to heavily back Wenger in the transfer market.

Wenger has already turned down PSG on two separate occasions.

When asked why he rejected their advances before Arsenal’s clash with PSG in September, Wenger replied: .Because I love where I am.

‘I know well the owners [at PSG], but I feel always I remained loyal to Arsenal Football Club because I think it’s a club that has the qualities I love. And, that’s why.’
