Leaders from the Western Kenya region affiliated to the Azimio la Umoja One Kenya coalition have implored upon the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission to carry on with the Kakamega gubernatorial election plans as earlier scheduled. The leaders argued that indefinite postponement of the exercise only creates unnecessary tension and infringes on the democratic right of the electorate.
