Pastor Kanyari reveals why he is leaving TikTok days after claiming he made over Sh 400k from live videos

Controversial pastor Victor Kanyari, known for his flamboyant and often polarizing presence was left stunned during a recent  encounter with German-based Kenyan socialite Chokuu.

During the livestream, Chokuu, known for his openness about his sexual identity and experiences, joined Kanyari’s session, sparking a conversation that veered into uncharted territory for the pastor.

Kanyari, seemingly taken aback, questioned Chokuu’s gender identity, expressing confusion about his apparent mixture of masculine and feminine traits.

“Wewe are you a man or a woman? Naona ni kama ukona mixture, it is like you are a man and like you are a woman I am not understanding,” the city preacher said while communicating with the socialite.

In response, Chokuu candidly revealed that he engages in relationships with both men and women, emphasizing that his actions are driven by business and catering to the preferences of his clients.

This revelation left Kanyari visibly surprised and struggling to reconcile the conversation with his own beliefs and expectations.

As the interaction continued, Kanyari’s discomfort became increasingly evident. He pondered aloud about leaving TikTok altogether, citing the unexpected encounters and revelations he had experienced on the platform.

Ghai! I will leave TikTok. Mimi nitatoka TikTok, nilikuwa nimeambiwa. Ohh my God, who have I met today? I have seen so many things but this TikTok thing is getting out of hand. People had told me to leave TikTok alone, maybe it is time I head the advise,”Pastor Kanyari emotionally said as he tried coming into terms with what the German based socialite was telling him.

Despite receiving lavish gifts from his followers, including tokens symbolized by lions, Kanyari seemed to suggest that the intensity of the content he encountered on TikTok outweighed the material benefits.

Chokuu, in a teasing manner, questioned Kanyari’s decision to leave TikTok, highlighting the gifts he received and the impact his departure would have on his followers.

However, Kanyari remained resolute in his uncertainty, grappling with the juxtaposition of his faith-based persona and the diverse and sometimes controversial content prevalent on TikTok.
