Controversial pastor Victor Kanyari, also known as Bishop Mwangi, recently made headlines by revealing the substantial earnings he has amassed from TikTok.
During a live stream session, the self-proclaimed man of God proudly disclosed that he had earned over KSh 400,000 since joining the social media platform.
“I have made over KSh 400,000, which I have been given for free,” he exclaimed, sharing his intentions for the money.
Surprisingly, Pastor Kanyari announced his plan to donate the entire amount to a children’s home, considering it as an offering.
Despite questions about why he continues to engage with TikTok, he adamantly asserted that he wouldn’t leave the platform, suggesting that his presence there allows others to make offerings.
“That’s my role. Imagine. Do you want me to leave TikTok, and people are offering offerings? Do you want me to leave so you can remain on TikTok and get all the money alone? I am not leaving,” he emphasized, even jokingly suggesting he could send a lion if he left.
When questioned about his motives for being on TikTok, Kanyari clarified that it wasn’t for monetary gain but out of love for people and a desire to preach the gospel to lost souls.
“I am not here because of money. I am not here because I receive gifts. I am here because I love TikTok and want to pray for the sick and kids. There are people who are being oppressed by the devil, others have problems, and others are living abroad but have no joy. I am here to pray for those people,” he affirmed.
