Months after splitting up with Noriega, Kenyan singer-songwriter Jacob Obunga, better known by his stage name Otile Brown, has announced the appointment of Mumbi Maina as his new manager.
Otile Brown welcomed Mumbi to the team and announced the news to his fans on social media.
“Welcoming our newest team captain @_mumbimaina thrilled to have their leadership on board as we embark on exciting ventures together. Here’s to collaboration, growth, and achievement of new heights 🚀 #newmanager,” he wrote.
Following six years of collaboration, Otile Brown and Noriega called it quits in June 2023.
The performer thanked his former manager and acknowledged that his work helped shape him into the celebrity he is today.
“Working with Noriega has been an incredible experience. His passion and support have shaped me as an artist. I will forever cherish our partnership”, he wrote.
Otile Brown also bid Noriega goodbye while praising his efforts towards building the singer’s brand.
“Noriega bless up king, love always. Grateful for the journey, memories made and success achieved along the way. Excited for what lies ahead. #newbginnings”.
