This June, DStv and GOtv launch Open Time, a special promotion that gives subscribers access to more content at no extra cost.
From 1 to 30 June, subscribers who pay for their current subscription automatically get access to a higher package at no extra cost. There is no opt-in required and no change to the bill – just access to more content for the same price.
It is a simple way to enjoy a wider viewing experience for the month: more drama, more action, more sport, more kids’ content and more of the stories customers know as well as those they have yet to discover – all available once payment is up to date.
Whether customers stay connected, reconnect or join during June, the upgrade is applied automatically to their decoder as soon as payment reflects. At the end of the promotion, subscriptions return to their usual package.
How the upgrade works:
DStv
DStv Compact+ and Compact are upgraded to DStv Premium
Family+ and Family are upgraded to DStv Compact
DStv Access is upgraded to DStv Family
DStv Lite is not eligible for the complimentary upgrade
GOtv
GOtv Supa and Max are upgraded to Supa+
GOtv Plus is upgraded to GOtv Max
GOtv Value and Lite are not eligible for the complimentary upgrade
The upgrade runs for the duration of the campaign and applies once the account is active and fully paid. Customers can stay connected or reconnect using the DStv website, the MyDStv App (App Store & Play Store), USSD *423#, banking channels or in-person payment points.
