The Office of Director of Public Prosecutions (ODPP) has clarified that the case against former Football Kenya Federation President Nick Mwendwa on misappropriation of funds worth Kshs 32,002,709 was withdrawn and that he was not acquitted.
The case was expected to commence on Tuesday but the prosecution could not proceed with the hearing following the discovery of additional evidence availed by the Director of Criminal Investigations.
