The National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA) on Monday halted the operations of all Modern Coast buses.
The suspension follows after a tragic accident in River Nithi, Tharaka County Sunday evening that claimed the lives of 33 passengers.
The ill-fated Modern Coast bus was heading to Mombasa from Meru when the accident occurred.
