Former cabinet minister Nicholas Biwott is dead. Biwott died in a Nairobi hospital while undergoing treatment.
His body has been moved to Lee Funeral Home.
He was 77 years old.
Sources indicate his health had taken a downward spiral in the last one year. He has been in and out of hospital.
The death of Biwott, popularly known as ‘Total Man’ comes a few days after the death of security cabinet minister Joseph Nkaissery.
Mr Biwott’s National Vision Party of Kenya (NVP) had endorsed Mr Kenyatta for a second term in office and he was one of the key opinion leaders he was relying on to campaign in the North Rift.
