The National Environment Management Authority (NEMA) has embarked on a countrywide 100 days Rapid Response Initiative targeting firms and institutions discharging hazardous effluent from their premises into the environment causing pollution. Seven traders in Mombasa have so far been arrested during the week-long crackdown in the County.
