Ruth K, the wife of popular Kenyan comedian Mulamwah has celebrated a significant milestone in her online career as she received her first paycheck from YouTube amounting to Sh 298,000.
Sharing her excitement on social media, Ruth K took to her Instastory to share a screenshot of her estimated paycheck.
Accompanying the image was a heartfelt message of gratitude and empowerment for fellow women.
She emphasized the importance of hard work and mutual support, urging others to persevere in their endeavors.
“First YouTube pay. So YouTube pays. Thanks for the support always. Ladies, let’s uplift one another and in all you do, work so hard no matter what. Hard work and God always.”
Ruth K’s journey on YouTube has been a captivating one, documenting her transition from pregnancy to motherhood.
She has faced criticism from some quarters for not taking adequate time to recover after giving birth.
However, in her new YouTube video, Ruth told off those having a problem with how she is living, saying she cannot please everyone.
“If you give birth and you feel you are okay, go back to work. Do not relent because people say how long you should take. People never miss something to say. Just do you and be you. Just do what you feel is right; people will put you down,” she said.
