Mombasa DG alleges harassment by Joho as 20 askari’s storm residence

    Mombasa Deputy Governor William Kingi was on Tuesday evening allegedly forced to surrender one of his cars assigned to him after over 20 inspectorate officers stormed his house in Utange. 

    Kingi, who has fallen out with his boss, Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho, accused him of using intimidation tactics to scare him.

    According to Kingi, the inspectorate officers said that they were executing orders ‘from above’.
