MOFA FC continued with their winning streak as the Homabay side beat Naivasha based Sunderland Keroche by a goal to nil at their Oyugis base in a Football Kenya Federation (FKF) Division One Zone B league match today.

The Michael Olunga Football Academy FC (MOFA) claimed all points courtesy of a 84th minute goal by Basil Opiyo. The visitors had held on to a draw before Opiyo broke loose to break the deadlock and send MOFA clean sheet victory just minutes to the final whistle.

Center referee DANIEL Onyango had an easy work only issuing one yellow card to Keroche’s Kosike Isaac in the 32 nd minute for reckless tackle.

In other matches played today, Kamugei Fsettled to a 2-2 draw against St. Joseph’s youth at the Kamugei seocondary school grounds.

Kamugei drew first blood off the saints as Evans Rono broke the deadlock in the 48th minute. Aaron Siele saw the back of the net in the 51st minute to put the home side upfront but a Said Adam penalty in the 61st minute helped St Joseph pull one back before Albert Momanyi leveled matters in the 89th minute.

In Nairobi, Rainbow played out a barren draw with Dandora youth As 3k FC beat Olympic pirates by a goal to nil courtesy of Collins maina in the 24th minute. Nairobi United were 2-0 victors over Liberty academy with goals from Ian Motanda in the 9th minute and Frank Ouya in the 20th minute.

League leader Green commandos beat Muhoroni 2-0 to remain seated at the top of the zone B log.

Victor Maliachi put the visitors infront with a goal in the 20th minute before Koloti added a second in stoppage time.
